Below is an action plan put
together to reach a personal goal. It has been composed to assure one follows
necessary steps to pursue success. By writing an action plan, this develops
organisational, planning and motivation skills. It will include a set target,
what action one must take to reach the target, who will carry it out and who
will be involved, when it will take place and how long for, what resources will
be needed and the communication which will be needed.
Target: To gain more experience making prosthetic appliances and using an airbrush.
What action will occur: In my year out of education I will work and save money to buy all the equipment which is needed to complete the making of a prosthetic appliance. Once this target has been reached, in my spare time I will develop my skills as a make artist by continuously practising this process and creating new designs.
Who will carry this out: I will be the person carrying out this process. I will also ask a number of individuals to get involved as models and assistants. Steve Mcivor is a photographer who I have worked with a number of times, as we work well together he will be asked to participate.
By when will it take place and how long for: It may take a few months to save up for the equipment but a target to have all the products bought will be for the new year of 2015. There will be a number of tasks carried out over the year until I move to Southampton in September 2015 to complete a top up degree.
What resources will be needed to carry out this action: A number of resources will be needed to complete this target. All of the products which are used to complete a two part moulding process, life casting, sculpting, casting the appliance and application. A studio where one can work will be needed and a compressor must be bought for practice with the airbrush.
Communication: Communication will take place with individuals that want to get involved.
